Meet our Storycatchers

Storycatchers give glimpses of authentic travel experiences…

What is a Storycatcher?

A storycatcher relates stories of authentic travel experiences on Manitoulin Island.  These stories are told by storycatchers who take part in the experiences and convey the sights, sounds and smells from a participant’s perspective.  Crafting posts for the Experience Manitoulin blog, story catchers use words, sounds, photos and videos to appeal to travellers who want vibrant, uniqe travel experiences.

Stories offer Manitoulin visitors a sense of place by portraying the Island travel experience – people, environment and mood – in every season of the year.  Stories on the Experience Manitoulin blog help travellers find enthusiastic Islanders to guide them through an abundance of authentic experiences and capture your hosts’ passion, knowledge and individuality.
